HELP US FIGHT OFF THE MASSIVE DATA CENTRE & BATTERY FIELD

The proposal to build 5 data centres, each the height of Exeter Cathedral, plus almost 100 acres of battery containers holding around 16 million battery cells, on a hill just to the north of Torrington, has to be stopped. To do this, we will need to create the largest volume of objections to a planning application that this country has ever seen. You can be one of the army of objectors who save Devon from this monstrous incursion.

Find out more about the proposal, which is in early stages of development and will be submitted to the local authority for approval in the New Year.

Stop This Development – Add Your Voice

Join our army of registered objectors. We will keep you posted of details as they emerge, and alert you when it’s time to submit an objection. We will also compile all the reasons why the application should fail, and summarise them for you so that you can create a personal objection that the planning authority will have to consider.

Thank you for joining this army. Everyone who has seen and heard about this (still very sketchy) proposal is incredulous that such a vast industrial development could possibly be envisaged for North Devon’s verdant farmland.
